MgO:PPLN is a highly efficient nonlinear frequency conversion crystal. It can be used in SHG, DFG, SFG, OPO and OPA etc. The blue MgO:PPLN crystal is employed in SHG of 976nm laser which can generate 488nm laser for bio-detection.
